The Marche Region Health Service has reported that 1,434 swabs have been tested in the last 24 hours: 889 in the new diagnostic route (of which 450 in the screening with the antigenic route) and 545 in the cured route .
The incidence of positivity increased by seven percentage points, reaching 18.2% (out of 889 swabs). Yesterday it was 11.8% of 3,144 tests.

The 162 new positives are distributed as follows: 12 in the province of Macerata, 58 in the province of Ancona, 71 in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 13 in the province of Stop, 7 in the province of Ascoli piceno and 1 from outside the region.

These cases include symptomatic subjects (21 cases detected), contacts in home environment (34 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (46 cases detected), contacts in the work environment (4 cases detected), contacts in life / social environments (15 cases detected), contacts in the healthcare environment (2 cases detected), contacts with the participation of students from all educational levels (2 cases detected), screening of the sanitary path (6 cases detected). For another 32 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway. Massive screening: 126 positives from 25 thousand tests
The Marche Region Health Service announced that the detection operation “Safe Marche” in the days of Friday 18, Saturday 19 December and Sunday 20 December 2020 found a membership of 25049 people with 126 positive cases rapid antigen test. In general in the city of Ancona 5372 tests were performed and 28 positive cases were detected in the two cities of Pesaro and Urbino 7087 people were evaluated and 66 positive cases were found in the city of Macerata 3005 tests were performed of which 20 were positive. In the city of Stop 4290 tests were processed, of which 8 with a positive result. In the city of Ascoli piceno 5295 tests were carried out, of which 4 were positive. Please note that the free screening aimed at all citizens continues in the cities of Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Pesaro and Urbino until December 23. All the municipalities of Marche will participate in the subsequent phases.
