“Compared to yesterday, there are 209 new positive cases of Covid-19 in the province, distributed in the municipalities of Aprilia (30), Bassiano (1), Castelforte (3), Cisterna di Latina (13), Cori (1) , from Fondi (4), from Formia (13), from Gaeta (5), from Itri (62), from Latina (35), from Lenola (1), from Maenza (1), from Minturno (6), Pontinia (2), Priverno (2), Roccagorga (5), Sabaudia (2), Santi Cosma and Damiano (5), Sermoneta (5), Sezze (2), Sonnino (1) and Terracina (10).
Due to the high number of positives found in a social assistance center in Itri, the Crisis Unit has been activated: in addition, the aforementioned patients who have developed pneumonia are being transferred to hospitals, while the rest of the patients together with the employees they will remain in the same structure and will be subject to telemonitoring.
The deaths of 2 patients (90 and 102 years old with pathologies – source Lazio Health Department), domiciled respectively in the Municipality of Itri and in the Municipality of Latina, were recorded.
Currently 1770 patients are positive, 1639 of whom are followed at home. “This was announced by the Pontine Local Health Authority without providing further details.
