Rome, January 1, 2021 – Sono 32,143 people vaccinated against Covid in Italy since the distribution of the Pfizer-Biontech serum began. The data, continuously updated, is reported in report Posted on the Government website, in the Emergency Commissioner section.
The numbers in the report confirm Lazio in the lead with 6,116 administrations. They follow Campania with 2,204, Lombardy with 2171 (where, however, the highest number of doses was administered: 80-595), Piedmont with 1,618, Tuscany with 1,472, Veneto with 1,461, Apulia with 1,209, Liguria with 1,125. The age group most vaccinated is that of 50 to 59 years, with a clear prevalence of health and social health workers. Then there are more women than men: 12,355 the first, 10,434 the second.
The president last night Sergio Mattarella, in his year-end speech, reiterated that “getting vaccinated is essential” and that he will also do it “as soon as possible”.
