This is the update at 10.12 on Sunday morning, August 30, for the covid-19 situation in Umbria: current positives rise to 267, the highest number since May 1. The most swabs performed are 1,662, and the total increases to 153,666.

The new positivity was found in Gubbio (7), Perugia (6), Terni (4), Giano dell’Umbria (2), subjects from outside the region (2), Orvieto (2), Assisi, Bastia Umbra, Corciano , Deruta, Gualdo Cattaneo (covid + returns), Montefalco, Narni and Todi. This is the largest increase since April 4. Those hospitalized drop from 12 to 11: 9 are in the ‘Santa María’ hospital in Terni (-1, no one in intensive care), the rest in Perugia (2, one of them in intensive care). The number of deaths was unchanged (80).
