In Sicily, in the last 24 hours, 1,838 new cases of covid have been registered with 43 deaths. This is what emerges from the bulletin of November 21 released by Civil Protection. The swabs were 9386, and thus the ratio between positives in processed tests increases to 19.5%.

However, there is an important fact: hospitalizations in intensive care do not grow and remain stable at 242. However, the total number of hospitalized people is growing slightly: they are 1,810 (they were 1,779). There are 34,431 Sicilians in home isolation (and the total number of positives is currently 36,241).

In the Sicilian provinces, Catania is the one with the most new infections: 625. It is followed by Palermo with 583, Messina with 145, Siracusa with 126, Agrigento with 107, Trapani with 71, Caltanissetta with 70, Ragusa with 56, Enna with 55.
