Covid outbreak in Sicily: 58 people from Capizzi, a small town in the Messina area, tested positive due to an outbreak that developed after a private party at a club in Nicosia (Enna) that would have been held on December 20 . Another 25 people are now waiting for the test results.

The mayor of Capizzi, Leonardo Principato Trosso says “very concerned”: “The situation is very critical. We cannot allow ourselves to underestimate the health emergency that is changing our lifestyle.”

The mayor communicated the situation to the regional health department and, “if the situation worsens, it will be inevitable to request the establishment of the red zone,” he said.
