It is a bad Sunday for Piacenza, who once again regrets other deaths caused by the Coronavirus: four people have surrendered to the consequences of Covid, according to the regional bulletin. They are three men of 94, 92 and 84 years old and a woman of 93. With those registered today Sunday, November 8, 1,015 victims are officially recognized as attributable to the disease that plagues almost the entire world population.
It is still very consistent, but less than the day before, that of new positives: in fact, 159 people tested positive in the last round of swabs performed. Of these, 71 have symptoms of the disease. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 8,317 people have come into contact with the virus in Piacenza.
THE COMPLETE COMMUNICATION
Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 71,408 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 2,360 more than yesterday, out of a total of 12,950 swabs made in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives out of the number of manufactured tampons is now 18.2%.
The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 1,452 asymptomatic people identified as part of the regional contact tracing and detection activities (61.5%).
Overall, 270 of the new positives were already isolated at the time of smear and 324 were identified in known outbreaks.
The average age of new positives today is 44.4 years.
Of 1,452 asymptomatic, 358 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 112 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 12 with serological examinations, 13 through tests prior to admission. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 957 cases.
The situation of infections in the provinces of Emilia-Romagna sees Modena with 639 new cases; Bologna (527); Reggio Emilia (304); Rimini (201); Parma (183); Piacenza (159); Ferrara (113); Ravenna (89); Cesena (61); Forli ‘(51) and Imola (33).
These are the data – verified today at 12 o’clock on the basis of institutional requests – related to the evolution of the epidemic in the region.
The swabs performed were 12,950, for a total of 1,728,477. To these are added 3,098 serological tests.
Active cases, that is, the number of actual patients, is 37,852 to date (2,204 more than yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, total 35,822 (+2,085 compared to yesterday), 94.6% of the total active cases.
Unfortunately, there are 35 new deaths: 19 in Bologna (13 men, of which 2 are 88 years old, 2 are 87 years old and the others respectively 93, 91,90, 85, 84, 80, 79, 74 and 54 years old, and 6 women of 96.93, 2 of 91, one of 78 and one of 77); 4 in the province of Piacenza (3 men of 94, 92 and 84 years old, 1 woman of 93 years old); 4 in Ravenna (3 women of 98.84.69 years, one man of 86 years); 4 in Rimini (2 women of 94 and 58 years old, 2 men of 97 and 76 years old); one in Cesena (a 93-year-old man); finally, in the province of Reggio Emilia, a 99-year-old man. Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, there have been a total of 4,816 deaths in Emilia-Romagna.
There are 194 patients admitted to intensive care (+6 compared to yesterday), 1,836 those from other Covid departments (+113).
In the area, people admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 11 in Piacenza (+1 compared to yesterday), 20 in Parma (+3), 18 in Reggio Emilia (+1), 34 in Modena ( +3), 61 in Bologna (-1), 5 in Imola (stable compared to yesterday), 12 in Ferrara (stable compared to yesterday), 9 in Ravenna (stable compared to yesterday), 3 in Forlì (stable compared to yesterday ), 4 in Cesena (-2) and 17 in Rimini (+1).
The total number of people cured increased to 28,740 (+121 compared to yesterday).
These are the cases of positivity in the area since the beginning of the epidemic, which refer not to the province of residence, but to the province in which the diagnosis was made: 8,317 in Piacenza (+159 compared to yesterday, of which 71 symptomatic), 6,913 in Parma (+183, of which 97 symptomatic), 10,993 in Reggio Emilia (+304, of which 230 symptomatic), 11,472 in Modena (+639, of which 105 symptomatic), 14,214 in Bologna (+527, of which 159 symptomatic), 1,377 cases in Imola (+33 of which 8 symptomatic), 3,379 in Ferrara (+113, of which 13 symptomatic), 4,000 in Ravenna (+89, of which 49 symptomatic), 2,851 in Forlì (+51, of which 37 symptomatic), 2,202 in Cesena (+ 61, of which 54 symptomatic) and 5,690 in Rimini (+201, of which 85 symptomatic).
