The president of the Puglia region has issued ordinance no. 88 “Urgent measures to address the epidemiological emergency of Covid-19” effective from tomorrow, March 27 to April 6, 2021.
This ordinance is the result of an in-depth discussion with the mayors, the presidents of the provinces of Apulia and with the institutional association: Confartigianato Imprese, CNA, Confindustria, Confcommercio, Confesercenti, Confcooperative, Legacoop, Confapi, Casartigiani, CLAAI, Coldiretti, Confagricoltura, CIA, Copagri, Ugl and Cgil, Cisl and Uil from Puglia.
“We have recognized the requests received from mayors, presidents of provinces and associations – declares the president of the Puglia Region Michele Emiliano – who had expressed the need for stricter measures than national ones to stop the spread of infections in view of the holidays. We have ensured that the rules are uniform throughout the region, without creating disparities between territories and communities. From March 27 to April 6, 2021, all commercial activities allowed by the Prime Minister’s Decree of March 2, 2021 in the red zone (Article 45), close at 6:00 p.m., with the exception of the sale of food, vehicle fuel, fuel for domestic use and for heating, kiosks, tobacconists, pharmacies and parapharmacies.
On March 28 (Palm Sunday), April 4 (Holy Week) and April 5 (Easter Monday) all commercial activities allowed by the Prime Minister’s Decree of March 2, 2021 in the area are suspended. red (article 45) with the exception of the sale of fuel. for transport, fuel for domestic use and for heating, flowers and plants, newsstands, tobacconists, pharmacies, parapharmacies.
The commercial activities are carried out on the condition that it is ensured, in addition to the interpersonal distance of at least one meter, that the accesses are made in a delayed way and that it is prevented from staying inside the premises longer than necessary for the purchase. the goods. The aforementioned activities must be carried out in accordance with the content of the appropriate protocols or guidelines to prevent or reduce the risk of contagion in the reference sector or in similar areas, adopted by the regions or by the Conference of Autonomous Regions and Provinces of Trento and Bolzano in compliance with the principles contained in the national protocols or guidelines and in any case in accordance with the criteria established in Annex 10 of the Prime Minister’s Decree of March 2, 2021 It is also recommended that the measures established in Annex 11 the same Decree of the Prime Minister applies.
It remains in public places open to the public, as well as in all commercial establishments, the obligation to place a sign at the entrance of the room that indicates the maximum number of people admitted at the same time in the same room, based on the Protocols and current guides.

With effect from March 27 to April 6, 2021, the take-out activity of catering services, when permitted by the Decree of the Prime Minister of March 2, 2021 (article 46, paragraph 2) , is carried out, from 6:00 p.m., by means of a preventive online reservation. or by phone and on the condition that organizational methods are adopted that limit queues, queues or meetings as much as possible.
