There are 1,023 new cases of coronavirus registered in the last 24 hours, according to data published by the Puglia region in the usual epidemiological bulletin. Yesterday 10,163 tests were recorded (10% of the positive relationship / test performed) and 54 people died, even if it is specified that it is an update of the data in the file, and the actual daily data is in line with the average trend: between the victims, 19 in Foggiano, 15 in Bat, 4 in Tarantino, 9 in the province of Bari, 5 in Lecce and 2 in Brindisi.
Regarding the new positives, the province of Bari is in the lead, with 367 cases; followed by Lecce (146), Foggia (145), Taranto (129), Brindisi (122), Bat (104). To these must be added 8 residents outside the region and 2 cases of unknown residence.
In the field of hospitalization, the situation continues to deteriorate: in the last 24 hours, from 1,735 to 1,717 patients occupying beds in regional health establishments. On the other hand, yesterday the number of healed increased, from 19,638 yesterday to 20,364 today (+726). There are currently 52,275 positive cases, compared to 52,032 in the last 24 hours.
