There are 1,793 new coronavirus infections in Piedmont and 25 Covid deaths in the region in the last 24 hours. This is what we read in today’s newsletter, March 6.

The total of positive cases thus becomes 261,706, of which 22,492 Alessandria, 13,185 Asti, 8,784 Biella, 35,477 Cuneo, 20,152 Novara, 138,685 Turin, 9,760 Vercelli, 9,859 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 1,245 residents outside the region , but in the care of Piedmont health facilities. The remaining 2,067 are under development and territorial allocation.
There are 192 people admitted to intensive care (+7 compared to yesterday). Non-intensive care patients are 2,263 (+40). There are 18,987 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 3,139,569 (+26,879).
The total number of victims in Piedmont since the beginning of the pandemic is 1,424. The recovered patients are a total of 230,778 (+814).
