As indicated in the Azienda Zero bulletin with the data updated on the afternoon of Sunday, January 3, the number of Sars-CoV-2 virus swabs increased by another 2,997 units compared to last night in Veneto. 469 new positive swabs are attributed to the sole province of Treviso.
The number of “currently positive cases” of coronavirus has therefore reached the regional level at 94,988, of which 16,131 in the sole province of Treviso. As for the sad death count, in Veneto there are 6,809 victims since the start of the pandemic, that is, another 83 new deaths compared to what was indicated at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2. Regarding the brand, deaths to date are 967 (+4), while those healed are 35,581.
Regarding the admissions in Venetian hospitals, this afternoon there are 3,052 patients still positive for the virus, of which 2,704 are received in a non-critical area and 401 in intensive care. In the province of Treviso there are intensive therapy, 24 patients at Ca ‘Foncello in Treviso, 12 in Vittorio Veneto, 6 in Conegliano, 5 in Montebelluna and 2 in Oderzo. In non-critical areainstead, there are 109 patients in Vittorio Veneto, 96 in Ca ‘Foncello in Treviso, 112 in Montebelluna, 89 in San Camillo in Treviso, 31 in Oderzo, 21 in Motta di Livenza and 22 in Conegliano. To which must be added the patients admitted to the community hospitals of Treviso (27), Vittorio Veneto (19) and Conegliano (2). Finally, on Sunday morning the first vaccinations of health personnel began at the San Valentino de Montebelluna hospital (755 doses), while they continued in Vittorio Veneto (434) and Treviso (302).
