Still 850 cases and an unprecedented number of deaths: 26. Puglia prepares to face the orange zone starting at midnight today with a bulletin that confirms the upward trend of the last days. In the last 24 there have been fewer cases than yesterday but confirming the percentage trend that sees the relationship between positives and buffers at around 12%.

Of these new cases: 277 in the province of Bari, 91 in the province of Brindisi, 55 in the province of BAT, 273 in the province of Foggia, 73 in the province of Lecce, 79 in the province of Taranto, 1 attributed to a resident outside the region, 1 case from province of unknown residence.

The death report is heavy: 26 deaths were registered: 9 in the province of Bari, 7 in the province of Bat, 9 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of Taranto.

Hospitalizations continue to grow, with 867 people hospitalized, 23 more than yesterday’s figure. And in the hospitals of Foggiano and Barese, the most affected areas, the emergency threshold is approaching, so the Region is delaying to activate new beds as soon as possible.

It must be said that 94% of those infected, who in Puglia have reached 14,823, are in home isolation, while 6% are in hospital. But the trend of infections does not go hand in hand with the number of cured that, although today there are 234 people who left the tunnel, it is still lower than the new cases.
