With 31,939 swabs made, there are 2,278 new positives in Lombardy, with the positivity rate reaching 7.1% (yesterday 8.9%). This is what is reported in the December 22 newsletter issued by the Region. The number of people admitted to intensive care continues to decrease (-21,540 in total) while those in the rest of the departments increase (+58, 4,290 in total). There are 92 new deaths for a total of 24,512 deaths in the region since the start of the pandemic. Those recovered / discharged are 2,356. As for the provinces in strong increase Varese with 767 new cases. In the province of Bergamo there are 48 new cases.
