This is the image that emerges about the coronavirus situation in Italy according to the data provided, on November 24, by the Director of Prevention of the Ministry of Health, Gianni Rezza (UPDATES – SPECIAL). The day before, that is, November 23, the new cases had been 22,930. The daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health indicates that 3,816 patients are currently hospitalized in intensive care, an increase of 6 units. The positive / test ratio drops to 12.3%. In the case of intensive care, however, the very different trend compared to previous months is confirmed: the percentage of positives admitted on April 4 was 4.5%, while on November 24 it was 0.5 %.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,455,022 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Italy, even recovered and died. The victims, in total, are 51,306. Those cured, in the last 24 hours, are 20,837, for a total of 605,330. The patients with symptoms are 34,577 (-120). On the other hand, there are 759,993 people in home isolation. Swabs totaled 20,726,180, an increase of 188,659 compared to November 23. The cases analyzed are 12,398,952 so far, net of how many swabs have been performed.

The Abruzzo Region announces that from the total positive cases, 2 cases were subtracted from 11/23 since they are not patients with Covid.
The Basilicata Region announces that the current death toll (16) refers to several days from November 19 to 24.
The Emilia Romagna Region announces that after verifying the data reported in recent days, 3 cases have been eliminated for not being considered Covid cases. The Friuli Venezia Giulia region announces that today’s new cases include 117 positive cases registered by private laboratories from October 21 to November 21
