There are 28,337 new Covid-19 infections in Italy (yesterday 34,767), compared to 188,747 daily smears performed (yesterday 237,225), with the percentage of positives at 15% (yesterday 14.6%). This is the image that emerges from the newsletter of the Ministry of Health of November 22 on the situation of the coronavirus in Italy (UPDATES – SPECIAL). The victims are 562 in one day, while intensive care reaches 3,801 (+43). In the case of intensive care, however, the very different trend compared to previous months is confirmed: the percentage of positives admitted on April 4 was 4.5%, while on November 22 it was 0.5 %.

Coronavirus, the situation in Italy: graphs and maps
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,408,868 people have tested positive for the coronavirus in Italy, including those who have recovered and died. The victims, in total, are 49,823, with 562 deaths in the last 24 hours (yesterday 692). The cured, again in the last 24 hours, are 13,574, for a total of 553,098. The patients with symptoms are 34,279 (+216). On the other hand, 767,867 people are in home isolation (+13,942). Swabs totaled 20,388,576, an increase of 188,747 compared to November 21. The cases evaluated are 12,225,850 so far, net of how many swabs have been done.
The Friuli Venezia Giulia region announces that today’s new cases include 109 cases from private laboratories, of which 67 are included in the period from November 4-18.
