There are 36,176 new Covid-19 infections in Italy (yesterday 34,283), compared to 250,186 daily swabs performed (yesterday 234,834), with the percentage of positives at 14.4% (yesterday 14.6%). This is the image that emerges from the newsletter of the Ministry of Health of November 19 on the situation of the coronavirus in Italy (UPDATES – SPECIAL). Since the start of the pandemic, 1,308,528 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Italy, including those who have recovered and died. The victims, in total, are 47,870, with 653 deaths in the last 24 hours. There are 17,020 cured in one day, for a total of 498,987. The patients with symptoms are 33,610 (+106). On the other hand, 724,349 people are in home isolation. Swabs totaled 19,724,527, an increase of 250,186 compared to November 18. The cases analyzed are 11,882,821 so far, net of how many swabs have been done.
The Friuli Venezia Giulia region reports that, following the communications received from private laboratories, the new cases include 196 positivities included in the period from October 28 to November 15. The Piedmont Region announces that the number of swabs at present is significantly higher than the daily average of swabs performed in Piedmont because it includes the loading of a portion of the data related to the screening performed in recent days within the RSA.
