There are 1,008 new coronavirus infections in Italy, down from the September 13 figure (1,458). This is the image that emerges from the data of the bulletin of the Ministry of Health of September 14. There are 197 hospitalized in intensive care, 10 more than the previous day. In the case of intensive care, however, the very different trend compared to previous months is confirmed: the percentage of positives admitted on April 4 was 4.5%, while on September 14 it was 0.5 %. According to the ISS, “although the number of cases reported daily is numerically similar to that reported at the end of February 2020, the epidemiological phase is completely different.”

The patients with symptoms are 2,122 (+80). On the other hand, 36,868 people are in home isolation. There were 9,863,427 swabs in total, an increase of 45,309 compared to September 13. The cases evaluated so far are 5,956,171, net of how many swabs have been performed.
