There are 37,242 new infected in Italy in the last 24 hours, about 1,000 more than yesterday when there were 36,176 new positives, despite the drop in tampons: 238,077, about 12 thousand less than yesterday. Deaths also increase, 699 against 653 yesterday. These are some of the data reported in the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The positive / swab ratio is 15.6%. The regions that registered the highest increase in new cases in the last 24 hours are Lombardy (9,221) and Campania (4,226), both with a significant increase compared to yesterday, followed by Piedmont (3,861) and Veneto (3,468). After days of decline, the incidence of positives rises again compared to the number of swabs made in the last 24 hours: it is 15.6%, while yesterday the figure was 14.4%.
The increase in patients in intensive care continues to slow down: in the last 24 hours there are 36 more than yesterday, for a total of 3,748. According to data from the Ministry of Health, the positives are currently 777,176, 15,505 more in the last 24 hours: of these, 33,957 are hospitalized in ordinary wards, with an increase of 347, and 739,471 in home isolation (+15,122). Finally, since the beginning of the emergency, 520,022 people have been discharged or cured, with an increase of 21,035 in one day.
