Pressure on hospitals In the last 24 hours there have been 100 more people in intensive care (2,849 in total of 7,514 places available), while 1,196 patients hospitalized in other Covid rooms are more than yesterday (27,636 in total). Currently more than half a million (573,334) are positive, with an increase of 14,698 from Sunday. Today’s swabs were 147,725, while yesterday they were 191,144. The positive / swab ratio is 17.1%, while the positive / new cases analyzed (today 88,701) is 28.49%. With 356 deaths today, the total death toll since the start of the pandemic has risen to 41,750.
In Lombardy 4,777 new cases, in Milan 2,225 Lombardy is once again the region with the highest increase in new cases (+4,777) compared to 21,121 swabs performed.
