New wave of infections in Campania after a day of truce: today they are there 253 new infected58 more than yesterday but with 1,552 more swabs made. This is the result of the bulletin for the last 24 hours issued by the regional crisis unit: out of 7,579 tests, therefore, 253 were positive. Thus, in September alone, the number of infected rose to 4,230, almost double the number registered in the terrible months of the confinement, when Campania stopped at 2,240 positives in March and 2,214 in April.
More generally, the total number of positives increases to 11,355 from 566,837 swabs performed, while the number of victims with the two deaths recorded yesterday rises to 459. The number of hospital admissions is also worrying: only yesterday 11 patients were hospitalized, two of them in intensive care. On the other hand, the number of recovered patients increased, from 5,488 to 5,638 with a peak of 150 negativized in 24 hours.
