The curve of coronavirus infections in Campania is growing: today the virus is registered 1313 positives out of 10671 molecular swabs examined497 less than yesterday with 6,141 less processed swabs. In percentage, it means that 12.30% of the tests are positive, almost two percentage points more than yesterday when the contagion rate was 10.76%. Of all these new infections, 814 are asymptomatic and 499 present symptoms in a bulletin that, however, does not take into account the cases identified with rapid antigen tests.
More generally, the number of victims rises to 4,940 with the 43 deaths recorded yesterday, even if the crisis unit is quick to specify that “they have died before.” The number of hospital admissions is also growing: 1,620 hospitalized with symptoms, seven more than yesterday and 171 patients in intensive care, two more than yesterday. Fortunately, the number of cured patients is also growing, from 213,419 to 216,036 with 2,617 negative in 24 hours. And for the second day in a row the number of cured exceeds the number of new positives.
