(ANSA) – ROME, OCTOBER 26 – There are 26,771 new cases of coronavirus infection registered in the last 24 hours in France. This was announced by the French health authorities, cited by France Info. Deaths in the same period of time were 257: the total since the beginning of the epidemic is now 35,018.

Intensive care patients also increased, 2,770 (+186 compared to yesterday), and hospitalized patients, 17,784 (+1,307).

Yesterday in France there were a record number of 52,010 infections in 24 hours.

According to France Info, hospitals are now under maximum pressure in all regions of the country, with some Covid departments, such as the university hospital in Toulouse, unable to accommodate other patients. (HANDLE).
