Rome – In the capital, however, the crowds arrived in the afternoon, especially on via del Corso, a shopping street in the center of the city. Several families walked for a long time with children dressed for carnival. On Saturday, however, there were meetings both in the center and in the suburbs: from Piazza dei Mirti to Centocelle, from Piazza della Marranella to Via del Pigneto, from the main square of Casal Bertone to Piazza Balsamo Crivelli and ending at Piazza San Giovanni Bosco. And again, towards the center, the gardens of the piazza Vittorio, the streets of Monti up to the piazza del Popolo, the Pincio and via del Corso.
