The President of the Puglia region, Michele Emiliano based on information from the Director of the Department of Health Promotion Vito Montanaro, informs that today Sunday, November 8, 2020 in Puglia, 6,723 tests have been registered for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection and they have been registered 766 positive cases: 160 in the province of Bari, 65 in the province of Brindisi, 167 in the province of BAT, 203 in the province of Foggia, 63 in the province of Lecce, 106 in the province of Taranto, 2 residents outside the region.
21 deaths were recorded: 4 in the province of Bari, 9 in the province of BAT, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 3 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of Lecce, 2 in the province of Taranto.
From the beginning of the emergency 601,253 tests were performed. 7,677 patients were recovered. 17,187 are currently positive cases.
The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 25,701, divided as follows: 10,106 in the province of Bari; 2,858 in the province of Bat; 1,843 in the province of Brindisi; 6,233 in the province of Foggia; 1,855 in the province of Lecce; 2,625 in the province of Taranto; 181 attributed to residents outside the region.
ASL prevention departments have activated all procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, directed to track close contacts.
