Viterbo – We receive and publish – Forty confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were communicated, at 11, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.
Another case of positivity for Covid-19 was reported by a health center outside of ASL.
The latest reports of positivity are related to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 19 in Viterbo, 5 in Capranica, 4 in Sutri, 4 in Civita Castellana, 3 in Vetralla, 1 in Nepi, 1 in Tuscania, 1 in Faleria, 1 in Vallerano, 1 in Tarquinia and 1 in Fabrica di Roma.
Of the current cases, 19 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and already isolated cases, 14 are connected to swabs performed for symptomatology, 3 are connected to swabs performed after a positive antigen test, 2 are swabs performed after a serological test positive and one is connected to a preventive tampon in hospitalization.
Forty are convalescing at home and one is currently on the Belcolle infectious disease ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 842 of which 44 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today the Covid-19 recovery of six patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity compared to two swabs performed consecutively within a few days.
The negative people are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: two in Viterbo, two in Vetralla, one in Vitorchiano and one in Tarquinia.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 14 are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, three are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center and 261 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 536, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 32,514 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 512 in the last 24 hours. To date, 625 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,790 have instead completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9,873 serological tests. Of these, 137 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.39%.
