There are 994 positive cases of coronavirus registered in Puglia in the last 24 hours, 6,196 swabs were made. The new positive cases are divided as follows: 373 in the province of Bari, 79 in the province of Brindisi123 in the Bat province, 229 in the Foggia province, 26 in the Lecce province, 153 in the Taranto province, 11 residents outside the region.

10 deaths were recorded: 3 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 1 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of Lecce, 4 in the province of Taranto. 579,259 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency.

Situation of hospitalizations in the Brindisi area

In the Brindisi area there are 19 patients hospitalized in the infectious diseases ward, 8 in Pulmonology, 7 in Intensive Care, 8 in Mesagne post Covid.
A 78-year-old patient died last night in the infectious disease ward.

Plasma donations continue

Donations of hyperimmune plasma continue at the Perrino hospital blood center in Brindisi. A nurse from the Perrino Oncology Department, Antonio Chirico, underwent plasmapheresis today.
