For the third consecutive day, the positivity rate in Abruzzo exceeds 10%, a value considered an alarm threshold. Despite the few swabs performed in the past few hours (217, the lowest number in the past three months), 23 new cases have emerged, with a positive / test ratio of 10.6%. Eleven recent deaths, bringing the death toll to 1,229. Hospitalizations are on the rise, from 473 yesterday to 480 today.

Of the new positives, the youngest is six months old and the oldest is 91 years old. At the territorial level, the most consistent increase is registered in Aquila (+19), followed by Pescara (+4) and Chietino (+2): the provincial totals include two cases from the last days with residence under investigation and meanwhile attributed to the province to which they belong. There are no new cases in Teramo. The current positives are 122 fewer and drop to 11,251: 443 patients are hospitalized in the medical area (+8) and 37 in intensive care (-1). The other 10,771 (-129) are in home isolation. The cured in the last hours are 134 (total 23,266).
