Covid: 25,853 cases in 24 hours, 722 deaths – Health

There are 25,853 new cases of coronavirus in Italy in the last 24 hours. This was announced by the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The deceased are 722, while the patients admitted to intensive care go from 3,816 yesterday to 3,848 today, with an increase of 32. The swabs performed were 230,007, with a positive relationship of 11.24%.

For the second day in a row, the number of hospitalized patients with symptoms decreased, from 34,577 yesterday to 34,313 today (-264). The number of those currently positive also decreases (-6,689), as a result of the increase in those discharged or cured, which in 24 hours were 31,819. The region with the highest number of new cases is Lombardy (+5,173), followed by Piedmont (+2,878) and Campania (+2,815). The one with the least number of new cases is Valle d’Aosta, which registers only 27.
