Covid-19, the newsletter: more swabs, more new cases

There are ten dead (two less than yesterday) and 1,370 new infected (+262) the balance of the last 24 hours for the coronavirus. These are the figures from the Ministry of Health.

The increase in the number of infected was accompanied by a net increase in swabs made: they were 92,403, almost double than yesterday. In Lombardy (271) and Campania (249) the highest number of new positives. No region has registered zero infections.

In Lombardy, the swabs made were 20,781. The number of hospitalized in intensive care continues to increase, rising to 27 in the last 24 hours. Two deaths for a total of 16,888 since the beginning of the epidemic.

Cases by province: Milan 100, Bergamo 9, Brescia 30, Como 14, Cremona 4, Lecco 5, Lodi 4, Mantua 8, Monza and Brianza 25, Pavia 24, Sondrio 2, Varese 29.
