In particular, the text of the new Dpcm establishes that from December 21 to January 6, trips between different regions (including those to or from the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano) will be prohibited, with the exception of trips motivated by work needs proven, situations of needs or health reasons.
It is forbidden to travel between different municipalities at Christmas, San Esteban and New Year’s Eve
Stricter rules are established for the days of Christmas (December 25), San Esteban (26) and New Years (January 1) when travel between different municipalities will also be prohibited, with the same exceptions (proven work needs, situations of need or health reasons). It will always be possible, even from December 21 to January 6, to return to one’s residence, domicile or home.
Limits for traveling to second homes
During the same period, it will be prohibited to move to second homes that are located in a Region or Autonomous Province other than one’s own. On December 25 and 26 and January 1, the prohibition will also apply to second homes located in a municipality other than yours.
