Covid, 19 new cases registered in Calabria compared to yesterday

Territorially, the positive cases are distributed as follows:

Catanzaro: 10 in the pavilion; 1 in intensive care; 64 in home isolation; 191 recovered; 33 deceased.

– Cosenza: 10 in the pavilion; 3 in intensive care; 114 in home isolation; 477 recovered; 34 deceased.

– Reggio Calabria: 5 in the room; 109 in home isolation; 318 recovered; 19 deceased.

– Crotone: 22 in home isolation; 117 recovered; 6 deceased.

– Vibo Valentia: 2 in the room; 17 in home isolation; 85 recovered; 5 deaths from Another Region or Foreign State: 245 (the total also includes the deceased in the Cosenza intensive care unit who resided outside the region).

Hospitalized patients from the “Outside the Region” area and migrants were included in the counts of the respective wards. In total, there are 10 hospitalizations at the Hospital de Catanzaro, 5 of which refer to non-residents.

9 are admitted to the AO of Cosenza; of these three are “non-residents”, while the patient discharged from Cosenza was placed in the “out of region” setting. The total number of Catanzaro cases includes subjects from other structures who have been discharged over time.

The 4 cases of Catanzaro are attributable to a known outbreak.

In Cosenza there are 9 new cases, of which 3 are attributable to the well-known Corigliano Rossano outbreak; 3 cases are attributable to the well-known outbreak of Cosenza, domiciled in the Valle Crati district. The other cases are: a contact from a case registered in another region, a migrant and a selection case with an ongoing investigation.

Since the last survey, a total of 1,476 people have registered on the Calabria Region portal to communicate their presence in the regional territory.

The count also includes the two patients from Bergamo transferred to Catanzaro, while the numbers of the infection received after the communication of the data to National Civil Protection are not included.
