The number of positives to the coronavirus in Abruzzo has exceeded 4,000 since the beginning of the epidemic. In the last 24 hours, in fact, 37 new positive cases have been registered (5 in the province of L’Aquila, 11 in Chieti, 5 in the province of Pescara, 12 in Teramo, for 4 cases it is due to verify residence). The total number of infected was, therefore, 4015. The territorial subdivision of cases in the last 24 hours this time does not see the prevalence, as in the last two weeks in the province of L’Aquila, but shows a significant increase in the provinces of Teramo and Chieti. Today’s new positive cases are between the ages of 3 and 94.
In the hospital setting, the number of hospitalized patients went from 40 to 44 (including 3 in intensive care). There are 535 positives in home isolation, 31 more than yesterday. The number of people discharged and recovered increased slightly to 2,964, while the number of deaths remained at 472. Therefore, the currently positive figures amounted to 579. The total number of tests has reached 175,854: in the last 24 hours has been processed a large number: 1962, with a positivity rate of almost 1.9%.
