L’Aquila. A total of 5,825 positive cases of Covid 19 have been registered in Abruzzo since the beginning of the emergency.
Compared to yesterday there are 178 new cases (between 1 and 92 years). Of the new cases, 86 refer to traces of outbreaks already known. The total is a smaller unit because a case was subtracted, reported in recent days, which was found to be in charge of another Region. There are 27 positives under 19 years of age, of which 17 in the province of L’Aquila, 5 in the province of Pescara, 2 in the province of Chieti and 3 in the province of Teramo.
The death toll of patients remains at 491. The number of positive cases also includes 3,174 discharged / recovered (+10 compared to yesterday). The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 2,160 (+167 compared to yesterday).
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 237,943 tests have been carried out (+3668 compared to yesterday). 167 patients (+8 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 11 (+1 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 1972 (+148 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.
Of the total positive cases, 1,172 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+89 compared to yesterday), 1,290 in the province of Chieti (+32), 2,142 in the province of Pescara (+15), 1,131 in the province of Teramo (+36), 43 outside the region (-1) and 47 (+6) for which provenance controls are being carried out.
