The total number of anti-Covid vaccinations carried out in Italy as of December 31, updated to 13.34, is 14,334. The data can be consulted and available from today, in real time, on the website of the Italian Medicines Agency Aifa, on the portal of the extraordinary Commissioner for emergency and other institutional portals. The data is constantly updated. Currently 7,813 women and 6,521 men have been vaccinated.
Lombardy is the Italian region with the highest number of doses of anti-Covid vaccine delivered as of December 31, equivalent to 80,595 (1.9% of the total). The doses administered to date in this region are 1545. This is demonstrated by the data from the report on vaccines against Covid-19. Sicily followed with 46,510 (1.7%) administered doses of which 778 administered and Lazio with 45.805 (5.8%) administered doses of which 2676 administered. 12,953 health and social workers, 764 representatives of non-health personnel and 617 guests of residential structures have been vaccinated.
It is the age group of subjects between 50 and 59 years who received the highest number of anti-Covid vaccines as of December 31, equal to 4,113. It is followed by the age group 40-49 (3,250), 60-69 years (2,501), 30-39 years (2,456), 20-29 years (1,363), 80-89 years (237), 70-79 years ( 214), over 90 (147) and 16-19 years old (53).
On December 30, 359,775 doses of anti-Covid vaccine were delivered and on December 31 another 110,175 doses: the administration of the 470,950 doses throughout the national territory officially began on December 31 (although in some regions the new vaccinations began yesterday afternoon ). On December 27, the first 9,750 doses of vaccine were delivered, fully administered.
