The story concerns the hires in the direct collaboration offices of the presidency of the council of four former traffic policemen from Salerno. According to the Campania prosecutor, the transfer would have resulted in a loss of public money.

Over the years, the magistrates of the Accounting Prosecutor have discreetly examined all aspects related to the recruitment of former traffic policemen in the personnel offices of the Campania region: Hiring in the offices of direct collaboration with the Presidency of Campania can be determined by criteria of trust, but the economic qualification must meet certain characteristics, which vary according to the position held. This is the assumption on the basis of which four years ago, the Regional Prosecutor of the Campania Court of Accounts had taken steps to find out whether the recruitment could have involved a loss of public money.

The notified invitation for deduction also referred to a managing director, but his post was subsequently removed. The notification took place a week ago, but the news was received only late tonight today. The brigade’s appointments have reportedly been suspended recently. Gianfranco Baldi had been entrusted with the task of dealing with relations with the State-Regions conference and the unified conference and the national legislative bodies; Giuseppe Muro’s relations with the regional councilors; Giuseppe Polverino for relations with the Presidency of the Regional Council and Claudio Postiglione for relations with regional structures and local institutions. Interestingly, the summons had to be served the day before Campania entered closure and is therefore postponed until last week.
