As part of the investigation into the murder of the Albanian couple who disappeared in 2015, Sheptim and Teuta Pasho, whose remains were found in suitcases in Florence, a woman was arrested in Florence. This is Elona Kalesha, the girlfriend of the couple’s son, 36, also Albanian, who lives with the young man at the time of the disappearance of the two. The woman is accused of murder, cover-up and insults to the corpses of the two spouses.

The woman took advantage of the right not to answer to prosecutors and police investigators. He seized the house where the carabinieri arrested Elona this morning for double murder. The house is in Florence in via Felice Fontana. The carabinieri, however, also seized the garage of another house, that of via del Pantano 16, also in Florence, where the woman lived with Taulant Pasho during the period of the sudden disappearance – which took place in early November, 2015 – from his parents, Shpetmi and Tauta Pasho. The garage is where 6 kilos of marijuana were found in June 2016 and therefore Taulant Pasho was arrested. In the same garage, in the following periods (2016 and 2017), the condominiums requested an inspection by the authorities for hygienic reasons due to the bad smell, which, however – as the researchers themselves pointed out – was attributed to the droppings of the dogs held there.
