As local media reported, Paul was a physical education teacher and soccer coach, while Rose Mary was an elementary school teacher. The couple contracted the virus nearly a week before Thanksgiving on November 26. The following Friday the couple was hospitalized, where they spent the next few weeks.
Paul and Rose worked regularly until the first symptoms of the coronavirus appeared. However, his conditions immediately worsened. So when it became clear that there was no room for improvement, the children decided to remove the life supports. The spouses leave behind four children and twenty grandchildren.
