MODENA Bittersweet day for Modena, which today records 6 deaths, but only 2 new cases of coronavirus.
Of the two new cases, one is in intensive care and the other is in the ward.
The new deaths are 69 years of Fiorano, 74 years of Polinago, 92 years of San Felice, 87 years of Montefiorino, 89 years of Modena and 90 years of Modena.
Ausl also reports 66 new clinically cured patients, that is, without further symptoms, and 101 new patients cured with a double negative swab. To date, 2,768 people have been clinically cured, including 2,472 with doubly negative swabs.
THE REGIONAL UPDATE
Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 27,056 cases of positivity have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 77 more than yesterday. The tests carried out reached 248,591 (+4,708).
There are 253 new cures (16,825 in total), while the number of active cases continues to decrease, that is, the number of real patients: -201, from 6,502 registered yesterday to 6,301 today. These are the data, verified today at 12 noon on the basis of institutional requests, related to the trend of the epidemic in the region.
Isolated people at home, that is, those with mild symptoms, who do not require hospital treatment or who do not have symptoms, totaled 5,318, +131 compared to yesterday. ICU patients are 121 (-1). Those hospitalized in the other Covid wards decreased significantly (-304).
Therefore, the total number of people cured increased to 16,825 (+253): 2,027 “clinically cured”, that is, they became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 14,798 those declared cured in all aspects because they gave negative in two consecutive tests.
Unfortunately, there are 25 new deaths: 10 men and 15 women. In general, in Emilia-Romagna they reached 3,930. The new deaths refer to 1 resident in the province of Piacenza, 2 in that of Parma, 2 in that of Reggio Emilia, 6 in that of Modena, 4 in that of Bologna (none in the Imola area), 4 in the of Ferrara, 1 in that of Ravenna, 4 in that of Forlì-Cesena (1 new death in the Forlì area), 1 in that of Rimini. There are no new deaths outside the region.
These are the cases of positivity in the area, which instead do not refer to the province of residence, but to the one in which the diagnosis was made: 4,405 in Piacenza (14 more than yesterday), 3,346 in Parma (29 more) , 4,870 in Reggio Emilia (11 more), 3,839 in Modena (2 more), 4,451 in Bologna (14 more); 390 positivity registered in Imola (1 more), 977 in Ferrara (there are no new cases compared to yesterday). In Romagna there are a total of 4,778 (6 more), of which 1,000 in Ravenna (1 more), 936 in Forlì (1 more), 759 in Cesena (there are no new cases compared to yesterday), 2,083 in Rimini (4 plus )
