Over 3,000 swabs tested, 2 deaths, about 160 positivity certified by molecular testing and 192 identified by antigen. These are the main data from today’s Covid-19 bulletin prepared by the provincial health services company.
The two deaths occurred in the hospital: it is a man and a woman, average age 84 years. Returning to the swabs, yesterday 2,056 were analyzed (987 in the Santa Chiara hospital and 1,069 in the Fem): 119 molecular were positive; to these are added another 38 positives from subjects whose infection had been identified by rapid tests.
Regarding the latter, yesterday -according to the data held by the Company- 1,002 were carried out: 192 tested positive. Among the new infected today there are 5 children under 5 years old (1 is under 2 years old) and 90 over seventy years old, as always worries the health authorities that once again renew the invitation to be especially cautious and adopt hygiene measures, particularly hand washing, use of masks, and interpersonal distancing.
The asymptomatic are 102, the paucisymptomatic 196: all follow each other at home. But in the last few hours, another 31 people have had to go to the hospital, while 15 have been discharged, for which 461 patients are currently hospitalized, of which 48 are in intensive care.
Those cured increased by another 68, bringing the total since the start of the emergency to 14,969. Finally, in the school setting, the assessment of 26 new cases of children is recorded: as always, the results of the epidemiological investigation will determine the possible isolation of the respective classes. (yesterday there were 12 in quarantine).
There have been 17,938 new cases of coronavirus in Italy in the last 24 hours (yesterday there were 19,903) for a total of 1,843,712 infected since the start of the health emergency.
This is reported in today’s bulletin, Sunday December 13, issued by Ministry of Health, on the epidemic situation in our country. On the last day the covid they were 484, while yesterday there were 649, for a total of 64,520 victims since the beginning of the epidemic.
The total healed are 1,093,161 (+16,270). The positive cases are currently 686,031. Of these, 27,735 patients are hospitalized with symptoms and 3,158 in intensive care. In total, the swabs performed in the last 24 hours were 152,697. The Region with the most positive daily cases is Veneto, followed by Lombardy and Emilia Romagna.
