GROSSETO – Two people died today in the province of Grosseto, an 86-year-old woman and a 91-year-old man, both of whom died on November 10. Yesterday a 66-year-old man died. Thus, the death toll of people who died in Maremma due to the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic rises to 32.
There are 146 new positives on 14 today (742 swabs were processed today). Yesterday the new positives were 107. The positives responsible are 1,339. Eleven cures were recorded. Across the southeast of Asl, the swabs that tested positive from 2:00 p.m. yesterday to 2:00 p.m. today are 429 (199 in Arezzo and 80 in Siena). Eight cases of Coronavirus registered today in Piombino: four women, 22, 28, 58 and 65 years old, and four men, three of 27 and a 59-year-old relative of a previously identified case. All subjects are in good health in isolation in their own homes; the prevention department is rebuilding the patient’s network of contacts.
Among the swabs processed between yesterday and today, 35 fall in the range between 35 and 49 years, and the same number between 50 and 64, just below (33) those between 65 and 79. 22 new positives in the range 19 -34, 13 to 18 and eight over eighty. In the last week it has gone from 68 new cases on Thursday to 156 today. The real jump has happened in the last two or three days. A jump that, after weeks in which the new infected had always been well below the other two provinces of the southeast of ASL, led us to overcome the positives of Siena and get closer to the numbers of Arezzo.
Even today the capital is the one that registers the most positives: there are 61 more. 13 in Follonica and 16 more in the outbreak of the little Civitella Paganico. 12 new positives at Orbetello and eleven at Magliano in Toscana.
There are currently 52 people hospitalized in the Grosseto Mercy and 12 in Covid intensive care.
