There are 1,597 new daily cases of coronavirus in Italy, compared with the number of swabs performed at 94,186, a slight decrease compared to the previous day (95,990). There are 14 more people admitted to intensive care (164) and 10 more victims. This was reported in the newsletter of the Ministry of Health on September 10 (LIVE UPDATES – THE SPECIAL). In intensive care, in particular, the very different trend compared to previous months is confirmed: the percentage of positives admitted on April 4 was 4.5%, while on September 10 the percentage was 0.4% .
In recent days, the average age of the newly infected has dropped to 32, according to the ISSand many of them are asymptomatic. The Higher Institute of Health also reports that, “although the number of cases reported daily is numerically similar to that reported at the end of February 2020, the epidemiological phase is completely different“.

The cases analyzed are so far 5,757,488, net of how many swabs have been performed.
