Viterbo – We receive and publish – Seven confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo at 11 am.
The latest positive reports are related to swabs made to residents or citizens domiciled in the following municipalities: 3 in Viterbo, 1 in Monterosi, 1 Proceno, 1 in Ronciglione, 1 in Blera.
Of the current cases, three have an epidemiological link with previously verified cases, two are citizens with a swab performed for symptoms, one is a citizen with a swab performed after a positive serological test, one is a preventive swab performed by a citizen before performing a travel abroad.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 625 of which 40 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
The ASL of Viterbo, with extreme regret, reports the death, which occurred in the last 24 hours, of a 96-year-old citizen, resident in the municipality of Viterbo, hospitalized for days in the department of infectious diseases of Belcolle, with a clinical picture already complex. .
Today there have been no new cases of Covid-19 cure.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 2 are hospitalized in the infectious disease ward, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 104 are convalescing at home.
The number of negative people remains at 490, 26 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the beginning of the COVID emergency, 27,358 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 178 in the last 24 hours. To date, 448 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,275 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9217 serological tests. Of these, 136 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.47%.
