In Italy there are 1,144,552 cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic: +37,255 compared to yesterday when they were +40,902 (+37,977 on November 12). The number of deaths amounts to 44,139: +544 compared to yesterday when they were +550 (+636 the day before). The swabs processed in the last 24 hours were 227,695: down from yesterday’s record of 254,908 (it was 234,672 on November 12). The ratio between positives and swabs increases: today it is at 16.36 from 16.05% yesterday (it was 16.18% the day before). This is what emerges from the data of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection.
The pressure on hospital structures is constantly growing with 31,398 hospitalized patients (+484, with an increase of 1.57%) and patients in intensive care that amount to 3,306 (+76, with a 2.35% increase). The number of currently positive increases, which is already 688,435 (+24,509, + 3.69%), of which 653,731 in home isolation (+23,949, + 3.80%). Those cured continue to grow until reaching 411,434 (+12,196, + 3.05%).

In Lombardy the increase in the curve is 2.66% (yesterday + 3.61%) with 35,550 swabs (yesterday 55,636) and 8,129 positive; positive ratio / swabs 22.86% (yesterday 19.11%); 312,720 infected in total; hospitalized +302 (7,621); intensive care +16 (817); 158 deaths (19,186). Today, finally, good news: after 7 weeks of growth, the new cases in the city of Milan (municipality) have decreased compared to the previous epidemiological week: 9,635 (November 7-13) against 9,987 (November 31). October – November 6), variation -3.52%. In the same period, the weight of new cases in the capital compared to the regional total decreased again: 15.63% against 17.7%, a downward trend that has been uninterrupted since the October 10-16 period ( when the value was 24, 96%). Shy signals, but it’s okay to record them. Unfortunately, they are not confirmed at the regional level: new cases in the same period were 61,644 (+ 9.83% over the previous one). Growth is slowing (it was 29.9% at the end of the last epidemiological week) but continues to grow.
Emilia romagna
Registry of new cases of Coronavirus positivity in Emilia-Romagna: 2,637 more than yesterday, found with 21,448 swabs. The percentage is 12.3%. Of the newly infected, 1,217 are asymptomatic, 296 were already isolated and 480 have been identified in the context of known outbreaks. The average age is 44 years. There is also a jump in active cases that exceed 50,000 (50,562, 2,412 more than yesterday) with 48,088 (+2,327 compared to yesterday) people in isolation at home, 95.1%. There are 43 new deaths, and even here they have exceeded five thousand (5,008) since the beginning of the epidemic.
