There are 26,323 positive swabs in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. The victims are 686. The swabs number around 226 thousand, with the positivity rate slightly decreasing to 11.65%. In the graph below, you can see the progression of the epidemic, first and second wave.
Pressure on hospitals drops
The good news comes from the shelters. Admissions to intensive care decrease by 20: this is the third consecutive minus sign. Ordinary hospitalizations due to covid also decrease: today they are 385 less than yesterday in all of Italy. In this case, the minus sign has been continuous for 5 days and confirms the drop in pressure on hospitals, which is still very high, at record levels.
