Viterbo – We received and published – 1 confirmed case of positivity to Covid-19 was communicated, at 11:00, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.
Another 2 cases were evaluated by additional health structures of Asl.
The latest positivity reports are linked to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 1 Viterbo, 1 in Montalto di Castro and 1 in Orte.
Of today’s cases, 1 has an epidemiological link to a previously verified case, 1 is a citizen returning from Sardinia, 1 is a citizen returning from Austria. They all spend their convalescence in their own homes.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 10 in the morning this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 606 of which 39 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today the recovery of Covid-19 of 4 patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity with respect to two swabs carried out consecutively a few days later.
The negative people reside in the following municipalities: 1 in Grotte di Castro, 1 in Tarquinia, 1 in Civita Castellana, 1 in Vignanello.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 4 are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, 4 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 93 are spending their convalescence at home.
The number of negative people rises to 480, 25 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 26,211 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 259 in the last 24 hours. To date, 392 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,151 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. Yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9010 serological tests. Of these, 135 were successful, with a prevalence rate of 1.49%.
