An increase in coronavirus cases in Sicily and, sadly, victims are also increasing, 3 reported in 24 hours. Record of swabs: almost 6000, never that many. There are 90 new infections, a total of 1,988 current positives: 155 hospitalized with symptoms, 16 in intensive care and 1,817 in home isolation.
There are 5,473 cases in total, 3,190 discharged cured; 295 died, three more than yesterday. The increase in buffers made was significant, equal to 5,809. The victims are registered in Palermo (this is the woman from Villa Sofía who died a few days ago in Neurosurgery), in Catania and Syracuse.
On the territorial distribution front Catania 35 new positives, Palermo 33, 7 positives in Ennese, 5 in Agrigento, 4 in Trapani and 4 in Messina and one in each of the provinces of Ragusa and Caltanissetta
There are 1,452 infected with Covid in Italy in the last 24 hours, an increase compared to 1,229 yesterday but identified with a greater number of tampons: more than 100,000 compared to 80,000 on Tuesday. The total number of infected, including victims and cured, amounts to 291,442 while that of discharged and cured is 215,265, 620 more than yesterday. The increase in deaths is also increasing: 12 in one day compared to 9 yesterday. No region has zero cases.
The cured are 620 (yesterday 695), for a total of 215,265. The number of positives currently increases by another 820 units (yesterday the increase was 525), and they are 40,532 in total.
And hospitalizations are also increasing: those of the ordinary regime are 63 more (2,285 in total), while the intensive care units grow by 6 units, 207 in total. There are 38,040 people in home isolation, 751 more than yesterday.
