Tourism travel to another Region is not allowed until January 6, 2021 inclusive. On orange days there are two exceptions: tourism trips are allowed within the same municipality and from municipalities with a population of up to 5,000 inhabitants, within 30 kilometers of the municipality’s limits, with the exclusion in any case of travel to the provincial capitals. .
Custodial or separated parents
Separated parents or adoptive parents may travel to different municipalities or regions, or abroad, to visit minor children. As Palazzo Chigi has repeatedly made clear, these are movements motivated by “necessity” and are therefore not subject to limitations. In the case of travel to / from abroad, it is necessary to consult the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for information on the specific health requirements related to the country you are coming from or having to leave from.
Obligation to quarantine
Italians abroad for tourism between December 21 and January 6 must be quarantined upon return. Quarantine also for foreign tourists arriving in Italy in the same period. The same occurs with those who will enter Italy from January 7 to 15, having stayed or passed through other countries, for tourism, between December 21 and January 6.
Catering with takeout only
In the orange areas, the catering activities are open from 5 to 22 for take out only. Home delivery is always allowed. Customers can enter and stay in bars, restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlors and patisseries only for the time strictly necessary to purchase take-out products and always complying with contagion prevention measures. Meetings or consumption near the premises are not allowed.
Catering at the hotel
The hotel restaurants are open to customers staying there: catering is only allowed inside the hotel or accommodation where you are staying. In case of lack of service within the hotel or accommodation, the client can use a take-out or “home delivery” service (possibly organized by the hotel), within the allowed time limits, with consumption at the hotel. .
