The Prevention Department in consideration of the cases that have arisen in recent days in the province of Arezzo Siena and Grosseto has intensified the activity of tracing close contacts. This activity has shown so far, 49 contacts for the Arezzo cases, two contacts for the Siena cases, zero contacts for the Grosseto case who have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At this time, 2,115 people from the Local Health Authority of the Southeast of Tuscany are already in home isolation, either because of a known case contact or because they come from other countries.
There are seven hospitalized at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases of Mercy in Grosseto, eight at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases and two in Intensive Care at the Hospital San Donato in Arezzo.
The identification of the cases and the tracing of the contacts was possible by performing 1,770 swabs.
