There are 1,365 new cases of coronavirus in Sicily in the last 24 hours, 39 instead of the victims. This is what emerges from the bulletin that the Ministry of Health has just issued. Yesterday the new infections had been 1,294, 71 less. It should be noted that 10,026 swabs were processed, about 550 fewer than on Thursday. Today, therefore, the positive rate for tampons made in Sicily stands at 13.6% (yesterday it was 12.2%). Current positives on the island now stand at 39,350.
1,431 people are hospitalized with symptoms. 216 (-61) instead are in intensive care. There are 12 new participants in the critical area of the island (there were 15 yesterday). This is a new (and important) data provided by the Ministry of Health since Thursday. Instead, the healed jumped to 28,188, 1,756 more than yesterday. The total number of people infected by Covid in Sicily since the beginning of the pandemic now stands at 69,277. The people who died are 1,689.
