Coronavirus, the update of infections in Palermo and Sicily on September 10, 2020

New outbreaks in Cinisi and Terrasini

Suspicious case at IACP, office closed

Suspected case of coronavirus also in the autonomous institute of public housing of Palermo in via Quintino Sella. An employee informed the agency that he had been in contact with his mother and his sister tested positive. The situation in the rest of Italy

There are 1,597 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Italy, ten deceased people who tested positive for Covid-19. These are the data disclosed by the Ministry of Health and available on the Civil Protection website. The number of victims since the beginning of the emergency is 283,180 infections and 35,587 victims.

Compared to yesterday, another 613 cured are reported, a total of 211,885. The current positives are 35,708, of which 974 were registered in the last 24 hours. 94,186 swabs made in Italy since yesterday, 9,554,389 since the beginning of the emergency. There are 164 people hospitalized in intensive care with coronavirus in Italy, 14 more than yesterday. In recent weeks, the curve of new cases has risen again, with the number of daily infections that has remained fluctuating, but always above a thousand: 1,434 new cases and 14 deaths were registered yesterday. Meanwhile, as the race toward the vaccine continues, the increase in hospitalized patients is worrying.
